Sudanese Egyptian Higher Committee under Bashir and Sessi Convenes in Khartoum in October,

The Minister for Foreign Affair, Dr Al Dirdiri Mohamed Ahmed, on Tuesday headed eh Sudanese side in the meetings of the political consultative committee that convened in Cairo, while the Egypt side was led by its foreign Minister Samih Shukri.
The discussions during the meeting focused on revitalization of the bilateral cooperation mechanisms, particularly the four man committee, the security committee and the parliamentary cooperation committee.

The Sudanese electricity Transfer Company on Thursday signed an agreement with two Turkish companies for the manufacturing of high voltage electric towers and other power transfer and distribution cables.

The Sudan gold production in the first quarter of the 2018 fiscal scored 36.5 tons of which the companies put up 4,5 tones while the tradition mining has come up with 32 tons, fetching 784.5 million Sudanese pounds. President assistant receives Afro-Arab union's digital media press freedom award

The Assistant of the President of the Republic, Gen Abdul Rahaman Sadiq El Mahdi, has stressed that Sudan enjoys a considerable freedom of the press, voicing his pride in receiving the awards of the Afro Arab Digital Media Union Award, in its first version launched in the Sudan.

The Assistant who received the Award in Khartoum has conveyed to the delegates the greetings of the President of the Republic Omar Bashir and his support for the union.

The award was handed by Ms. Maha Al Sheikh Babikir, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Union. The event was attended by representatives from 15 Ara and African countries beside a number of senior Sudanese government ministers and officials, the Sudanese journalists union and the Council of the African political parties.

The chairperson has pointed out to the envisage role of the union and how it could work with its counterpart and peers in matters related to press freedom and promotion of the profession practices.

She referred to the freedoms as enshrined in the beliefs of the community and how this freedom should be responsible, not infringing the liberties and freedoms of others.

The Undersecretary at the ministry of information, Ambassador Yasser Khider, has referred to the wide range, scope and areas of freedoms as laid in the Sudanese legislations, Sudanese culture and society which he said stand as the first line of defense and guarantee for press freedoms in the Sudan.

The Assistant of the President of the Republic, Dr. Faisal Hassan Ibrahim has affirmed that Sudan will go ahead with the establishment of strategic partnership with Britain in all fields including peace and development .This came when Dr. Faisal received, Tuesday, at the Presidential Palace, the Head of the British side to the Strategic and Political Consultation Committee between Sudan and Britain and briefed him on the steps taken by Sudan to support peace and developmental via implementation of the outcome of the National Dialogue and the preparations for the coming elections, besides the ratification of the constitution .

Prime Minister of Chad arrives in Al-Genaina

The Chadian Premier , Pahimi Padacke Albert arrived in Al-Genaina , capital of West Darfur State , Tuesday , to partake in the Sudanese-Chadian Borders Development Conference which would be launched today noon. He was received by Vice-President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman , Governor of West Darfur State, Fadl-al-Mula Al-Haga , governors of bordering states from both Sudanese and Chadian sides and numerous ministers and holders of constitutional posts and leaders of native administration.

Tripartite meeting of Sudan, chad, Niger chiefs of staff held in Khartoum

The Tripartite meeting of top military officials of Sudan, Niger and Chad, took place in Khartoum to discuss how to secure border areas in the region. The Sudan side was led by the Chief of Staffs, Lt Gen kamal Abdul Maaroof Al Mahi, the Niger side was headed by Lt Gen Ahmed Mohamed Chief of Staffs of the Armed Forces of Niger while the Chadian Delegation was headed by Lt Gen. The acting Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Abdalla Idris, on Sunday received copy of the credentials of the new UK ambassador to the Sudan, Mr. Irfan Siddiq, in preparation for submission to the President of the Republic

President Al-Basher witnesses Gulf Shield 1 Exercises

 President of the Republic, Field Marshal, Omer Al-Basher witnessed, Tuesday, the conclusion of the Joint Gulf Shield1 Exercises, in Ras Al-Kheir area in Saudi Arabia among a number of Kings and presidents of Arab and Islamic countries who responded to the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bi Abdul Aziz . UNDP Affirms Cooperation with Sudan

 The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has affirmed the continuation of cooperation with Sudan government and the Disarmament, Demobilization and Re-integration (DDR) to implement stability and social security projects in all Sudan .
